What is special about Amazon forest?

Because of size, the Amazon rain forest is a vital element of global weather, supplying a significant portion of the world's oxygen through photosynthesis and acting as a major portion in the hydrologic cycle through plant  transpiration                                                     





The amazon forest has about one of the animal species in the world that is 3000 freshwater fish, over 520 mammals ,1622 brd species and 468 repitles. ther are some endangered species of animals such as giant anteater, several varieties of sloths and armadillos, coati, giant river otter, tapir, peccaries, marsh deer, Pampas deer, and capybara for mammals for example.
